Preparing for waxing

For best results, let hair grow to around 5 mm (about two to three weeks after shaving). Avoid exfoliating, tanning or applying heavy lotion on the day. If it is your first time, a short appointment on a small area is a good way to start.

Aftercare

Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming and strong sun for 24 hours, and wear loose clothing. Gentle exfoliation a few days later helps prevent ingrown hairs.

When to avoid waxing

Waxing is not suitable on broken, sunburnt or irritated skin, or if you use certain strong skin-care medicines. Please tell us about diabetes, skin conditions, allergies, medication or pregnancy before your appointment.
