Swedish massage is the classic full-body massage and the best place to start if you are new to spa treatments. At Universal Spa & Salon in Ara, your therapist uses the palms of the hands and long, flowing strokes with soothing oil to ease everyday tension and help your whole body slow down.

What happens in your session

• A short chat about pressure, focus areas and anything to avoid
• Full-body massage with the palms, using massage oil (included)
• Long gliding strokes, gentle kneading and a steady, calming rhythm
• Fresh linen, a quiet private room and soft lighting throughout

• 60 minutes — ₹2,499
• 90 minutes — ₹3,499

Oil is included in the price. Gel, cream and scrub are available at an additional charge — just ask your therapist.

Swedish massage suits almost everyone: students and professionals who sit for long hours, people who travel frequently and anyone who simply needs an hour of calm. If you prefer firmer pressure on specific areas, ask about our Deep Tissue Massage or the VIP Room Massage instead.

Tips for your visit

Arrive about ten minutes early, avoid a heavy meal just before your session and drink some water afterwards. Tell us about injuries, pregnancy or medical conditions before the massage begins so the therapist can adjust the pressure.
